US Election 2024 Live: Harris and Trump make final push to court Latino voters in key states

With less than a week to go until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump campaigned in the battleground states of Nevada and Arizona on Thursday, aiming to win over Latino voters.

Harris focused on health care, warning that Trump and his allies could dismantle critical programs if he returns to the White House. She pointed to his previous attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, and criticized remarks he made at a rally on Wednesday that she considered offensive to women.

Trump, in response, denied these claims on Truth Social, insisting, “I never mentioned doing that, I never even thought about that.” He made campaign stops in Las Vegas and then joined former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in Arizona.

In Las Vegas, Jennifer Lopez supported Harris, praising her commitment to protecting “our freedom, the freedom of immigrants and immigrant families to pursue the American dream.”
