BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – For the past five years, Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) has held a trick-or-treating event for students at Warren County Elementary.

This year, instead of having it on the college campus, SKYCTC officials brought the student party from their grounds.

According to representatives from SKYCTC, the reason for the change of venue was the rain, but it also allowed them to bring candy to all students rather than just those authorized to make the trip.

“We wanted to give back,” said Millie Wells, Director of Alumni Relations at SKYCTC. “Since Warren Elementary is across the street from SKYCTC, we thought it was a great way to come and celebrate their kids trick or treating.”

Officials from SKYCTC said this is one of their favorite events of the year and the children were extremely excited to receive candy and see the costumes.
