COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Seven people were honored Wednesday, Oct. 30, for careers serving their communities.

An induction ceremony was held on Wednesday afternoon, October 30, for meritorious achievements in law enforcement.

This year’s honorees included officers from the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety, Department of Natural Resources and SLED, among others.

Officers who spoke to ABC Colombia say this is the honor of a lifetime.

All of today’s honorees have been in law enforcement for more than 25 years.
