Body Count’s Ice-T Hates Both Political Parties But Thinks Trump ‘Is Absolute Shit’

As approval ratings stack up for both major party presidential candidates, Body number the leader Ice-T doesn’t seem to particularly like anyone running, he jokes in an interview with Classic rock:

“I think if God wanted us to vote, he would have given us candidates.”

However, it seems that of the two candidates, he hates one more than the other. In the same interview with Classic rock, Ice-T had some very choice words to say about the former and (god forbid) possibly future president:

“You know, I despise Trump. I think Trump is absolute shit. I think people vote with their wallets, so they think he’s going to put money in their pockets and shit. But it didn’t happen last time.

“I think the good thing about Trump is that he has let the world see how screwed up the United States is. He let the world see how racist and how outrageous much of our country is. No one can look at the guy and say he’s a solid bastard. He has more felonies than all my criminal friends put together and he doesn’t even have an ankle bracelet. It just shows us how this country is run and run, so it’s crazy.”

Ice-T also had some negative things to say about Harris and was really skeptical of both major political parties, which is fair given the current state of things. Referring to one of his songs comparing the Democrats and Republicans to the Crips and Bloods, Ice-T said:

“It’s just ironic that (the parties) wear red and blue. The thing about gangs is that once you say you’re a Republican, you have to go along with everything they say, and once you say you’re a Democrat, you have to go along with everything they say. This is a tape, yes. This is gang mentality. You have to sit down. And if you’re the leader of the pack, you’re like, ‘Look, if you’re in my pack, you agree with every damn thing I say,’ and I don’t think anybody really does.”

Overall, it has many good points. We’re kind of bummed because the two parties are both pretty terrible, and it’s possible that either candidate will continue to support a genocide in Gaza. Can we restart this country from scratch?
