All about Zachery Ty Bryan’s recent legal battles

The “Home Improvement” the star is a relapse. In February, he was caught and arrested for DUI, and in October he was taken into custody for the same offense.

According to the Custer County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma, Bryan was arrested at 8:34 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, for allegedly driving under the influence and having an expired license.

The 43-year-old’s arrest was also reported by The Oklahoman, local ABC affiliate KOCO News and Fox 23 News. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not yet issued a public comment on the arrest.

Before that, he was arrested on February 17 for DUI and contempt of court. He was released on $65,000 bail the same day, with a court hearing set for the following April.

However, in March, TVInsider reported that he was charged with a felony for having three or more anthers in the past 10 years. If found guilty, the star risks up to ten years in prison.

The two DUIs this year add to Bryan’s mounting legal troubles in recent years, which include an arrest in July 2023 for fourth-degree assault, third-degree robbery and harassment. He was ordered to spend seven days in jail.

In October 2020, Entertainment Weekly reported that Bryan was involved in a domestic violence dispute and arrested on charges of alleged fourth-degree assault and strangulation. He later pleaded guilty to menacing and assault.

He was sentenced to 36 months of “bench probation” and participation in the Bridges2Safety program. Months before, he was charged with DUI in May 2020.

Before giving up acting in 2009, he acted “First Kid” and “The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.” He has also made appearances in other films such as ‘Burn Notice’, ‘Smallville’, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘ER’, ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ and ‘Knight Rider’ reboot.

After retiring from acting, he served as executive producer for the 2018 film “The Kindergarten Teacher” starring Maggie Gyllenhaal.
