The release states that investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that led them to Mayes.

Investigators say Mayes recorded a person without their consent and had files containing child sexual abuse material.

The release states that Mayes is charged with five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of voyeurism.

Sexual exploitation of a minor is a felony and punishable by up to ten years in prison for each charge. Voyeurism is a misdemeanor offense punishable by up to 3 years in prison for a first offense on each charge.

The case will be pursued by the General Prosecutor’s Office, according to the press release.
