HANOVER TWP, Mich. (WILX) – A man is dead after the car he was driving left the road and hit a tree near Hanover Twp. wednesday morning

It happened just before 8:30am on Hatch Rd near Reynolds Rd in Hanover Twp.

Jackson County officials say 51-year-old Stacy Rainey was traveling westbound on Hatch Rd when the crash occurred. No one else was in the car, but investigators told News 10 they believed it was speeding.
