Metro Boomin denies R*pe’s allegations

Metro Boomin has released a statement through his lawyer denying a recent lawsuit filed against him accusing him of sexual assault.

“This is just a shakedown,” Metro attorney Lawrence Hinkle II told TMZ. “These are false allegations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay it months ago, and he refuses to pay it now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a malicious prosecution claim once he wins.”

A woman named Vanessa LeMaistre claims that Metro, real name Leland Wayne, sent her to his studio in 2016 after their first meeting in Las Vegas.

She claims that during a visit to his studio in Los Angeles, she was “immediately injected with alcohol. She also ingested half a bar of Xanax, which she used to deal with her anxiety after losing her son,” and passed out on a sofa.

When she woke up, LaMaistre claimed she couldn’t move or make a sound because the producer had contact with her without her consent. A few weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant.

LeMaistre also claims the rapper referenced the attack in 21 Savage’s 2017 track “Rap Saved Me.”

“Took a Xanny then passed out/ I’m out of the gutter, ain’t changing/ Out of the gutter, rap saved me/ Driven me crazy, have my baby.”
