Belpre Man Arrested For Sexual Assault Of Minor Indicted In Wood County Grand Jury

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – A Belpre man facing sexual assault charges has been indicted in a Wood County Grand Jury.

On October 29, Kevin WilsonBelpre, Ohio, was indicted during the special session of the Wood County Grand Jury. Wilson was arrested in September 2024 for sexual assault of a minor.

He was indicted on the following charges:

  • First degree sexual assault
  • 2 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian
  • First degree sexual assault

Wilson was among 18 indicted Tuesday.

Other charges include:

  • Virgil Denver Adkins for destruction of property and domestic assault.
  • Brian Allen Allman for theft, brandishing a deadly weapon and two counts of escape.
  • Michael Allen Bailey for burglary, petit larceny, receiving or transferring stolen property, conspiracy to commit a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
  • Thomas Michael Underwood for burglary, petit larceny, receiving or transferring stolen property, conspiracy to commit a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
  • Greggory Scott Baker for breaking and entering and two counts of theft.
  • Derek Robert Chirsman for domestic assault (3rd offense) and violation of a protective order (2nd offense).
  • Christopher Maurice Davis for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (second offense) and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (second offense).
  • John Nathaniel Dillard for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (second offense), obstructing an officer and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Christopher Wayne Hutson on three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, persons prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm, persons prohibited from possessing a firearm, obstructing an officer, intimidation of to a witness and assault.
  • Stephanie Patricia Maggi for domestic battery (third offense).
  • Sherman L. McPherson for failure to notify registration changes (second offense).
  • Robert Daniel Pennel, III, on two counts of prohibited person to possess a concealed firearm, two counts of prohibited person to possess a firearm and two counts of possession of a controlled substance intent to deliver.
  • Adam Lee Sams for two counts of destruction of property, two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony.
  • Michael Patrick Sullivan on two counts of distribution or display to a minor of obscene matter, obstructing an officer and indecent exposure.
  • Gary Leonard Travis on five counts of assault on a health care worker (third offense), two counts of attempted assault on a health care worker (third offense) and destruction of property.
  • James Edward Wallbrown, Jr., for battery on a law enforcement officer (third offense), battery on a law enforcement officer, obstructing an officer, brandishing a deadly weapon and fleeing a police officer.
  • Darrel Arthur Yeator for destruction of property, first degree robbery, grand larceny and two counts of assault.
