22-year-old man dies 6 days after Montgomery shooting that wounded 4 others

A Montgomery man has died, nearly a week after he was wounded in a shooting that also injured four others.

Police on Tuesday identified the victim as Eldren Wright. He was 22 years old.

Montgomery police were notified around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, that the five victims presented themselves at the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Investigators determined the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive. No further details have been released.

Three men and two minors were injured. Wright and one of the juveniles suffered life-threatening injuries.

The other three victims had non-life threatening injuries.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman said Wright died Tuesday.

No arrests have been made.
