I took a DNA test to prove my daughter and silence trolls – strangers stop me on the street and assume I’m her babysitter

A MOTHER OF THREE has spoken about her experience after being accused of nannying her own daughter.

Alex and Rob have three children together, and while Alex is a black woman and Rob is white, their youngest child, whom they name Pudge Pudge, appears Caucasian.

Talking to Reallyloving mother has hit back at nasty trolls who questioned her relationship with her youngest daughter.

Rob said: “We did a DNA test to prove our baby is hers.

“When Pudge Pudge was born, he sure looked a little different from the rest of our kids.”

Alex revealed that she has faced racism about being the mother of her daughter on more than one occasion, with nasty trolls asking ‘Whose white baby is it?’ and people insist that Pidge Pudge is not her child.

The two have three children, Chub Chub, seven. Bubba, five, and Pudge Pudge, two.

Alex revealed that they had fertility issues at first but were able to have their three children with fertility help.

Pudge Pudge was conceived using IVF, but Alex’s egg was still used in the process.

The mum added: ‘We decided to do the DNA test because it was so easy. And I used IVF to get pregnant with her and mistakes happen. So we just wanted to rule that out, not worry about it.”

The test results came back identifying Alex and Rob as her biological parents, but that doesn’t seem to be enough for the nasty trolls.

Alex recalled going out with her daughter for the first time after she was born and said, “This older white lady, she… I was complimented on being a great nanny. And I was in my feelings and I was also hurt.”

“This is Pudge Pudge. She is my daughter. I was pregnant with her. She still looks like this. She is blood of my blood and flesh of my flesh,” she added.

Despite some of the harsher comments, Alex and her family have many fans online who praise the wonderful family.

The clip posted on Truly has racked up more than 78,000 views, with people quick to share their love for the family in the comments.

One person wrote: “Looks like dad. People are so ignorant.”

How does it happen?

While it is not common to give birth to a white child if you are black and vice versa, it is certainly not impossible and several factors may be at play.

Genetic variation: Human skin color is determined by several genes, not just one. These genes control the amount and type of melanin produced in the skin. Melanin is the pigment responsible for skin, hair and eye color.

Genetic dominance and recessiveness: Inheritance of skin color is a polygenic trait, meaning it is influenced by more than one gene. These genes can interact in complex ways, resulting in a wide range of possible skin colors.

Another commented: “Like a black mother of a mixed child who has albinism. I hear you, mom. The mess you hear is WILD. I was once asked “How did this happen”.

“It’s amazing the amount of limitless combinations of mom and dad’s DNA together to create unique children. All your children are beautiful,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “What a loving mother and family. Those kids are loved and cared for. I’m so happy for you all. You don’t deserve such negativity.”

“She’s just adorable, forget about people, enjoy your family,” claimed a fifth.

Another added: “Beautiful family!!!”
