Suspect arrested after brandishing gun in Springfield road rage incident

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A suspect was arrested Monday in Springfield after allegedly pointing a gun at another driver.

According to the Springfield Police Department, around 9 a.m., a driver told an officer someone pulled a gun on him after a traffic incident that started on an I-91 exit ramp.

Officers located and stopped the suspect’s car on East Columbus Avenue.

There they confiscated a firearm.

Ricardo Esteves-Cordero, 25, of Holyoke was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
