Law enforcement agents on Monday conducted a joint operation at the federal prison in Brooklyn, where Sean “Diddy” Combs is being held without bail on sex-trafficking charges.

“This operation was pre-planned and there is no active threat,” a Bureau of Prisons spokesman said in a statement.

Law enforcement officials seen at the scene included members of the NYPD, the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI, the photos show. They also brought in a K-9 unit and spent hours at the unit.

There was no immediate connection to Combs, and the prison has been under fire for years over conditions and infighting with staff. The BOP shared few details and said authorities plan to release more information later.

Agencies involved included the BOP and the Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General, which along with other law enforcement agencies are “conducting an interagency operation designed to achieve our shared goal of maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and individuals incarcerated housed at MDC Brooklyn. “, said the spokesperson of the BOP.

Combs, whose attorneys requested that he be held in New Jersey, was placed routine suicide watch at the facility when it arrived, Fox News Digital previously reported.

In recent months, the prison has faced criticism over conditions inside, which have become so bad that the Associated Press reported last month that some judges have stopped sending inmates there.

Other high-profile inmates previously held at MDC Brooklyn included R. Kelly, Ghislaine Maxwell and Sam Bankman-Fried.

Combs has pleaded not guilty in the federal case. Other accusers continue to appear in civil lawsuits.

Jeffrey Epstein, Maxwell’s longtime lover, who died before trial in his own sex-trafficking case, was being held in another federal prison. in manhattan which was temporarily closed.
