New Spider-Noir The set photos are here, not only showing off some of the action scenes from the series, but also giving fans their first look at the live-action costume that Nicolas Cage will be wearing.

New set photos come courtesy of TMZ and others filming an action sequence with a stunt double wearing the Spider-Man Noir suit on top of an old car. The sequence sees Spider-Man Noir struggling to get up on the car before miming shooting a web at it and trying to drive away.

Cage plays Spider-Man Noir in the series, a character he voiced in animated form in 2018. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are co-showrunners of the series. They serve as executive producers alongside Harry Bradbeer, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal. Bradbeer is directing the first two episodes.

What do we know about Spider-Noir?

“The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York who is forced to confront his past life as the city’s one and only superhero,” a description of the show. read.

Alongside Cage, New Girl’s Lamorne Morris was announced as Robbie Robertson. The cast also includes Brendan Gleeson, Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Karen Rodriguez, Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice and Amanda Schull.

Spider-Noir will be the first television series to take place Sony’s Spider-Man Universewhich started in 2018 with Venom. Other shared universe entries include 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, 2022’s Morbius and 2024’s Madame Web, while Venom: The Last Dance will be released on October 25, 2024. It will be followed by Kraven the Hunter, which will arrive on December 13th. , 2024.

A release date for Spider-Noir has yet to be announced. The series will first debut on MGM+ before launching globally on Amazon Prime Video.
