Armie Hammer Will Tell His Kids About His Controversy ‘When It’s Time’

Armie Hammer he knows he will eventually have to explain his a multitude of controversies in the last years to his children.

In the inaugural episode of Hammer’s new podcast The Armie HammerTime Podcast Monday, October 28 The social network star, 38, admitted his children will one day learn about his controversies while interviewing the comedian and actor Tom Arnold. While talking to Arnold, 65, about how they talk to their kids about adult situations going on in their lives, Hammer noted that the idea that his kids will one day be able to look him up online is “very scary for me”.

“I’m sure you’re so sincere that you’re going to have those conversations,” Arnold said, to which Hammer replied, “100 percent, when the time is right.”

Hammer has two children — Harper, 9, and Ford, 7 — with his ex-wife Elizabeth Chamberswith which he settled the divorce in 2023.

Hammer also referenced parenting earlier in the podcast episode when he noted that becoming awake helped him to rise to the level of responsibility necessary for his young children.

“I look at how my sobriety has affected my parenting and my ability to come up as a parent,” he said. “That’s one of the things I’m really thankful (for) in terms of where I am in my life. I get to actually be a father.”

Hammer launched his new podcast about two months after it moved back to Los Angeles. In a video he shared on Instagram on Oct. 28, Hammer said he sees the project as “kind of a diary” as he tries to revive his career, more than two years after he last appeared in a film.

Chambers, 42, also returned to live in Los Angeles in recent months. She and their children lived in Cayman Islands since the COVID-19 pandemic.

In April, Chambers said on an episode of the reality series Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise filmed in early 2023 that she and Hammer’s children “had no idea what was going on” with their father in the public eye.

“My kids are visibly happy. They should think their dad is a superhero,” Chambers said in that episode. “And to be fair, it was up to them. It was the best possible.”
