MANNINGTON, W.Va (WDTV) – One person was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot in Mannington Monday morning.

The crash happened in Rainbow Plaza at about 9:40 a.m., according to Marion County 911 officials.

It is not known whether or not the patient was transported to the hospital or died at the scene.

Marion County Rescue Squad, Mannington Volunteer Fire Department and Mannington Police Department responded to the scene. The police department will investigate the incident.
