A well-known TV star in Britain has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing five underage boys.

The actor, who cannot be named at this time, is understood to have been picked up by police after they raided his home.

Conformable reports of the Sunwho claims to know the identity of the person arrested, has worked with some of Britain’s biggest names in TV and is known for a major TV role.

The media also reported that computer equipment and documents were seized, and the arrest comes after an initial visit earlier this month regarding the allegations.

The soap star is said to be shocked by the allegations, believed to date back to the 90s, and denies them.

A police spokesman said: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of historical child sex offenses involving five victims. Officers investigating allegations dating back to the 1990s have detained a man.

“He was arrested on suspicion of a number of sexual offenses relating to five men who were teenage boys at the time of the alleged offence.

“He has been released on parole while inquiries continue.”
