A couple from Kerala, Priya and Selvaraj, popular for their YouTube channel ‘Sellu Family’, were tragically found dead in their home by their son. The police are investigating the case.

A popular YouTube couple was found dead in their house in Kerala’s Cheruvarakonam village on the night of October 26. The couple’s bodies were first found by their son after he returned home in the late hours.

According to a Malayalam publication, the deceased have been identified as Priya, 37, and her husband Selvaraj, 45.

They ran a YouTube channel “Familia Sellu” with almost 19,000 subscribers.

The couple’s son, a home health care intern in Ernakulam, spoke to them on the phone Friday evening. After not being able to reach them since Saturday morning, he decided to visit them. On arrival, he found his mother lying dead on the bed, while his father was found hanged in the same room, Mathrubhumi reported.

The couple last posted a video on their YouTube channel on October 25, the day before their deaths. The video featured a compilation of their photos and put on a song about saying goodbye.

The police are investigating the case.
