“Plane Incident” Leads to Large Law Enforcement Presence in Jessamine County

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Multiple law enforcement agencies are in Nicholasville investigating a reported aircraft incident in the area of ​​Connie Way and Ashgrove Road.

Jessamine County Emergency Management told FOX 56 the intersection was reportedly blocked off around 7:00 PM Sunday while law enforcement worked to clear the debris and make sure it was safe for traffic. Officials said the road has been reopened.

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook that state and federal authorities “are aware of and investigating an incident involving a single powered parachute aircraft in the area of ​​Ashgrove Road. We advise citizens traveling to Ashgrove to find alternative travel routes for the next 24 hours.”
