Amber Rose quickly shot down claims that Beyoncé stole her the speech she gave at the Republican National Convention earlier this year. The “Cowboy Carter” artist and her longtime friend Kelly Rowland on Friday (October 25). appeared at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris.

While introducing Harris, Bey said, “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I am here as a mother.”

She also stated that she is a mother “who cares deeply about the world in which my children and all our children live, a world in which we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world in which we are not divided.” Beyoncé encouraged the crowd to vote: “We need to vote and we need you.”

It wasn’t long before Rose went on Instagram to accuse the Destiny’s Child star of stealing her words: ‘She wanna be me so bad. Literally took my entire speech,” Amber wrote.

During her RNC speech in July, the “SlutWalk” founder said, “I’m a mom. My whole world revolves around taking care of my children, keeping them safe… We all want a better country for our children.”

The comparison didn’t end well for Rose.

After he arrived dragged on the internetRose now says her comment was in jest. “I was literally trolling” she told TMZ. “I look for my friends all the time – I didn’t think it would be international news. But I love Beyoncé, I know Beyoncé, she’s an amazing girl… I was just low-key trolling.”

Rose also said it’s “crazy” how one comment can set the internet on fire.

“I was literally joking,” she reiterated. Rose went on to say that only a “delusional person” would seriously want Bey to be her. She added that “we live in a free country” where people are free to have their own political views.

While Bey supports Harris, Rose has made it known that she is an ardent supporter of Donald Trump.
