Tenth anniversary edition of Dundee Student Law Review published

The tenth edition of the Dundee Student Law Review has been published.

Volume X commemorates the magazine’s tenth anniversary and opens with a foreword and thanks from project chairman Tom Edwards. Features the 2023 Jonathan Leslie Memorial Essay Prize Competition winning article by Jack Anderson, as well as articles by former student Mollie McGoran on the fair incorporation of non-binary identities in Scottish law and whether IR35 taxation rules are properly applied to personal services . companies and partnerships.

It also has, among others, two award-winning articles from the University of Aberdeen: the first is by Christianna Cameron, which considers minority language rights in Scottish law and the revival of Scottish Gaelic.

The second is by Sashka Bakalova and considers the extension of the probative value of evidence of distress in sexual offense trials in Scotland.
