U2’s latest single is quickly becoming a huge radio hit

U2 have announced their new album, How to reassemble an atomic bomb, at the end of September. They quickly began promoting the set, which acts as an extension of their Grammy-winning hit film. How to dismantle an atomic bomb, as the new project is a collection of unreleased material from that era. The lead single from the upcoming effort has been steadily rising at rock radio in the US, and with each passing week, the song becomes a bigger hit.

“Picture Of You (X+W)” debuts on a new version Panel count this frame. The single opens at number 38 on the Alternative Airplay chart, bringing the Irish rockers back into the top 40 region.

The Alternative Airplay ranking is third Panel chart that “Picture Of You (X+W)” reached. The song has managed to debut on a new chart in each of the last three weeks as it’s being quickly adopted by rock programmers and DJs across the country.

U2’s recent drop spent the most time on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. “Picture Of You (X+W)” stayed on that chart for three turns. This week, it rises again, from number 39 to number 36. This is a new peak for the single on that chart.

Last week, “Picture Of You (X+W)” debuted on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart. The single opened at number 20 on that chart and has now climbed to number 14. This marks not only the song’s new peak on that chart, but also the song’s highest position on any of them. Panel list.

“Picture Of You (X+W)” was released as a double single, although the second cut which was distributed at the same time has yet to make a commercial impact in the US. The song was paired with “Country Mile”, which is clearly not the focus – neither for the band nor for their fans.

As “Picture Of You (X+W)” continues to climb and debut on multiple charts across America, U2 are already moving on to what’s next. On Friday (October 25), the superstars released ‘Happiness’, the third track from How to reassemble an atomic bomb. In the coming days, it could reach a number of Panel registers as interest in all things Irish musicians is on the rise.
