Hartford Police are investigating 2 early morning shootings

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened early Sunday morning.

Around 1:49 a.m., officers were dispatched to Hartford Hospital after receiving a report of a gunshot victim.

The victim, a man in his thirties, was alert and conscious with injuries described as non-life threatening.

Authorities determined he was shot while in his vehicle at the intersection of Windsor Street and Boce Barlow Way.

Shortly after the shooting, the victim’s vehicle collided with a motorcycle on southbound I-91, resulting in a closure between exits 33 and 32.

The scene remains active and drivers are advised to use caution in the area.

At approximately 2 a.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert reporting shots fired at 22 Addison Street.

Upon arrival, they found two additional men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims, also in their thirties, were conscious and alert and were taken to hospital for treatment, where they are listed in stable condition.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Division is investigating both incidents.
