JASPER COUNTY, Sc. (WTOC) – One person is dead after a fatal collision in Jasper County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The collision took place on Saturday at around 19:46. on Rivers Hill Rd. off Garvain Rd. about three miles north of Robertville.

Only one vehicle was involved in the collision, there were no passengers in the vehicle.

The driver of a 2004 Nissan Sentra was traveling northbound on Rivers Hill Rd. when they cross a line, they overcorrect and run off the road. The driver then hit a ditch and overturned.
