Neighbors collect donations for victims of the Warsaw apartment fire

WARSAW, NY (WKBW) — As more than a dozen people in Warsaw struggle to find a place to sleep after a devastating fire, neighbors are lending a hand.

“(They’re) literally going day in and day out not knowing where they’re going to sleep that night, and it’s been really hard to think about, especially when there’s a few kids involved,” said Monica Jett, owner of Warsaw Cleaners.

He was there delivering carpets when a fire broke out at the building on North Main Street. She knows the property owner and immediately called for help.
