Hamburg’s new high school principal hopes to make a positive impact

Principal of the new Hamburg-area high school, Ryan McGinley, hopes to have a positive impact.

McGinley moved positions from the middle school to the Hamburg-area high school on July 1.

When given the opportunity, he knew he was willing to accept the challenge and responsibility of being the new high school principal. He says high school is a different challenge than middle school, so it was a big change. He is also familiar with middle and elementary school students.

McGinley enjoys being a principal because he can interact with everyone and has the dedication to be a part of everyone’s education and learning. He helps make it a positive experience and impact for everyone to learn in an appropriate learning environment.

McGinley previously taught elementary school in Hamburg for 15 years, then moved to the middle school and taught a year of 6th grade science before moving into the role of middle school administrator. He also taught elementary and middle school in the Hamburg area.

Some of McGinley’s biggest goals are to be able to have a positive impact on the staff and students and to be able to grow our school with academic growth and continue to make Hamburg Area High School a wonderful and enjoyable place for students. in.

McGinley’s hobbies are running and playing golf. Some of the things he likes to do about his job as a principal are coaching his son and daughter, spending as much time as possible with his family, and relaxing.
