Wisconsin teenager arrested for robbing local business

WASHINGTON, Wis. (WFRV) — A 16-year-old Wisconsin boy was arrested after he was accused of burglarizing a local business Sunday morning.

According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Officethe incident occurred on October 20, 2024, shortly before 8:15 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at Narrows Valley Supply in Washington, where money, clothing, hunting and fishing equipment and ammunition were stolen.

A detective identified the suspect as a 16-year-old male from Elroy and discovered items believed to have been stolen during the burglary at the suspect’s residence. The teenager later confessed to the crime.

The juvenile faces charges of burglary, possession with intent to deliver THC (less than or equal to 200 grams) and obstructing an officer. The case will be sent to juvenile court.
