The principal was charged after serving a beer bong to the teenage girls on video, police said

KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WXIX/Gray News ) – A Kentucky high school principal is facing charges after a video showed him drinking and serving alcohol to two high school students, according to the Kenton County Police Department.

Scott High School Principal Anthony Procaccino, 50, is seen in a video from New Year’s Eve 2023 holding a beer bong as two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, drink alcohol from it, the department said by the police.

In the video, a police man identified as Procaccino can be seen in a room with a beer bong and cans of Truly sitting on a table.

Police said the video was shot inside Procaccino’s home.

At the time, on New Year’s Eve 2023, the Kenton County Police Department said Procaccino was the principal at Whites Tower Elementary.

The investigation into the incident came after police said they were contacted over the weekend of October 19-20 by the mother of one of the teenagers in the video.

“Apparently this isn’t the first time this has happened,” the mother said.

A dash cam video of a Kenton County police officer interviewing the mother was obtained.

The video is blurred to protect the identity of the mother and her voice is also altered.

In the video, she tells the officer she’s worried her child will be retaliated against because the mother called the police.

The girls are blurry in the video because they are minors.

“He is a grown man in a position of power. You’re 15 *beep*, you’re not going to convince a man,” Mom said.

The mother also expressed concern about the revealing clothing the teenage girls in the video were wearing around the director.

A spokesman for Kenton County Schools referred WXIX to their initial statement on the matter earlier this week.

On October 21, Kenton County School District Spokeswoman Jessica Dykes said in a statement that they are aware of the investigation.

“This is a personnel matter,” she said on Oct. 21, “and Cody Wolf, assistant principal at Scott High School, has been named interim principal at this time.”
