Police responded to a burglar alarm around 2 a.m. and found the man leaving the store, Clemens said. The man was trying to steal lottery tickets and cigarettes.

The man was also found with burglary tools, including screwdrivers, pliers and a crowbar, Clemens said. He was also arrested for possession of controlled substances.

This is the second Casey’s gas station robbed this week in the Sioux Falls area.

Shadrich William Sides, 33, was booked into the Minnehaha Jail Tuesday on charges of first-degree robbery and aggravated assault at a Casey’s gas station located at the intersection of East 15th.^th Street and South Sycamore Avenue.
