Popular comedian’s daughter was dealing meth at her home: police

New details have emerged regarding the legal troubles and recent arrest of Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, the comedian’s eldest daughter. Rosie O’Donnell.

Prior to her arrest, the sheriff’s office “constantly obtained information that Chelsea was actively using and trafficking methamphetamine from her residence,” according to a complaint seen by USWeekly.

As reported, Chelsea was arrested on October 11 in Oconto County, Wisconsin. Now, county police have released court records detailing how the arrest took place.

Chelsea, 27, faces three felony and two misdemeanor charges after Oconto County police charged her with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping, obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers conducted a traffic stop that morning and observed Chelsea and a male passenger look away when she pulled into view, appearing visibly nervous. The officer who pulled her over ran the car’s license plate, and the report revealed that Chelsea did not own the vehicle and that the owner had a warrant for their arrest.

“Chelsea didn’t look me in the eye and kept looking straight over the steering wheel. “I asked Chelsea where she was going tonight and I initially said she didn’t know, then she seemed to catch on and I said ‘to a friend,'” reports obtained by Fox11News. “I asked Chelsea who her friend was and she said she didn’t know. I asked the passenger for his ID, and he didn’t recognize me, so he kept looking straight ahead. Chelsea was visibly shaking nervously and her forehead was covered in sweat. I asked Chelsea if there were any illegal drugs in the vehicle. Chelsea stated that she wasn’t sure if there was or not. I asked Chelsea for proof of insurance and registration and she stated that she had no insurance information as it was not her vehicle.”

As the arresting officer stated, “Chelsea came back valid with an open drug case for multiple counts of drug possession and maintaining a drug trafficking place.”

Officers told her they would search her person for any drugs or weapons, and according to reports, Chelsea “slipped away” from officers when asked what was in her pocket.

“Chelsea reached into her right front pants pocket while we were trying to apprehend her and threw what we later discovered to be a meth pipe toward the Oconto River,” reports state. “Chelsea tried to throw it over the fence and into the river but couldn’t. The meth pipe hit the fence and bounced back onto the sidewalk, breaking.”

After testing the meth pipe, which tested positive for meth, police also tested the seized drugs and found hydrocodone, oxycodone and morphine.

Following this arrest, Chelsea O’Donnell was released on bail three days later. She said nothing about her arrest. She is the mother of four children: Skylar Rose, 5, Riley, 3, Avery Lynn, 2, and Atlas, who is 11 months.

She is expected to appear in court on November 4 and 7.
