His sister a Northern Kentucky woman accused of killing and dismembering her mother’s body filed a restraining order against her brother, alleging he led her sister to commit the acts, according to court records.

Telby Fields filed a petition for an emergency protective order in Robertson County District Court on October 11, she filed a lawsuit to keep her brother, Truitt Fields, away from her because of the threats of violence he has made toward her throughout her life. The court granted the order, court records show.

The handwritten petition alleges that her sister, Torilena Fields, “butchered” her mother, Trudy Fields, “under his advice.” Telby accuses her brother in the petition of threatening to kill several people in her family, including her, her sister and mother. Truitt told him he would claim his “firstborn birthright” by carrying out the threats, according to the court filing.

At the bottom of one of the pages filed, Telby wrote: “When my body is found…Truitt Fields killed me.”

A domestic and interpersonal violence hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, according to court records. Meanwhile, Truitt is banned from approaching Telby and will not be allowed at her mother’s “upcoming funeral.”

Torilena was indicted Oct. 14 on charges including murder and abuse of a corpse after Kentucky State Police officers had arrested her the week before at her mother Trudy’s home. Officers found body parts scattered around the property, including some cooked in a steel pot in the kitchen oven, according to an arrest citation.

While Torilena is charged in court with her mother’s murder, officials are still awaiting identification results from the Frankfort Medical Examiner’s Office to determine if the body belonged to her mother, KSP spokesman David Jones said.

Torilena is being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear in Robertson County Circuit Court for arraignment on Nov. 12, according to court records.
