Al-Quds Publishes Alleged Hamas Documents Detailing Sinwar’s Hostage Plans – Israel News

The Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds published three documents on Friday that it claims were written by former Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar. The documents reportedly contain instructions for Hamas operatives regarding the hostages being held in the The Gaza Strip.

According to the newspaper, the first document asks Hamas terrorists to “take care of the lives” of the hostages, considered by the Hamas chief as a “pressure card”.

The second document reportedly includes lists of hostages, detailing their sex, age, whether they were soldiers and where they were being held in Gaza.

The final document lists the names of 11 female hostages, aged 41 and over, and includes whether they held foreign nationalities.

The 11th hostages they have since been released from Hamas captivity.

The Al-Quds report could not be confirmed by The Jerusalem Post.

This follows a report by telegraph last week, which claimed that Sinwar would have issued an order to execute all remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza if he had been killed.

Elimination of Sinwar by the IDF

Sinwar was eliminated by the IDF last week in Tel Sultan in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, after troops of the 828 Bislach Brigade identified three suspicious figures entering and exiting a structure.

Following troop fire, the figures separated, the individual, later revealed to be Sinwar, entering a building separately.

An IDF tank hit the structure where Sinwar was embedded, after which a drone was sent to assess the situation. A masked Sinwar could be seen in footage later released by the IDF attacking the drone with a stick.

The tank later fired again at the structure, after which troops awaited DNA checks to establish Sinwar’s identity.

All indications are that no hostages were killed in the operation.
