GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – On October 26th, the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) responded to a report of a possible robbery.

Before officers arrived at the Dairy Queen located at 709 North Avenue, the suspect took off in a red Jeep Cherokee. Authorities later discovered a man entered the freezer, stole items and confronted an employee with a knife.

At approximately 11:20 p.m., officers stopped a red Jeep Cherokee matching the description of the robbery vehicle in the area of ​​North Avenue and 10th Street.

The suspect was taken into custody without further incident, and no charges have been filed.
