Three burglaries between Friday night and Saturday are being investigated by Gardaí in East Galway.

Gardai have confirmed they are investigating a burglary in the Kilkerrin area which was reported on Saturday 26 October. Several items were taken during the incident, including a sum of money.

They are also investigating a burglary in Ballygar, which happened on Friday, October 25. A number of items were also taken during this incident.

A burglary in the Clonberne area, which took place on Friday 25 October, is also being investigated.

Anyone who has noticed any suspicious activity/vehicles in the area is asked to contact Ballinasloe Garda Station on 0909 631890.

People are advised by Gardaí to ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the property, to be aware of vulnerable neighbours, to beware of unknown vendors/traders offering services and to report anything you think may be suspicious.
