NEW LONDON, CT. (WFSB) – Someone stole $35,000 worth of guitars from a New London storage unit.

Police said the break-in took place in the storage room of an apartment building on Union Street.

They were called on Thursday.

The victim claimed that there were numerous guitars that were taken from the facility.

The victim told police the guitars were valued at approximately $35,000.

Police said the case had been active since Friday morning.

No other details have been released.
