The police are at Gatwick Airport investigating a security incident and means both the station and airport are evacuated.

Trains can run through the station but cannot stop until further notice.

Thameslink, south and Gatwick Express trains are affected by the closure and passengers are advised to postpone travel until later.

Much of the South Terminal has been evacuated as a precaution while we continue to investigate a security incident. Passengers will not be able to enter the South Terminal while this is in progress.
