Newcastle welcomed back three England stars after the international break and each reflected on their individual success.

Anthony Gordon scored his first goal for England during the 5-0 win over the Republic of Ireland, while Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento were given their first international starts.

The game against Ireland marked only the third time three Newcastle players have featured in England’s starting XI, the last time being in April 1997 when David Batty, Rob Lee and Alan Shearer featured against Georgia.
