Albany police are investigating a shooting incident on Lark Street

Neighbors say shots rang out on Lark Street just after 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Albany police are investigating a shooting incident. Police said the call came in at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday for reports of shots fired at the intersection of Lark Street and Spring Street.

“I just heard bang, bang, bang and I was like oh my God,” said one neighbor.

Another witness at the scene said they heard four gunshots.

Police also told NewsChannel 13 the front door of the Bitchin Donut incident was damaged in the gunfire.

Tania Sharlow owns the local donut shop and said one of the bullets shattered their front door.

“There is definitely a bullet hole in our door frame. It’s broken glass, so the front door just shattered and went all over the place,” Sharlow said.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

Albany police have not yet made any arrests and said the investigation is ongoing.
