Another suspect has been named in the ongoing investigation into the theft of a Mansfield Fire Department credit card.

Louisiana State Police have identified 28-year-old Quindon Thomas as another suspect in the murder.

LSP announced over the weekend the arrest of former Mansfield firefighter Donald Anthony Jr., 22, who allegedly stole a department credit card after resigning from the Mansfield Fire Department in February.

According to LSP, in July 2024, the Mansfield Police Department contacted them to investigate a stolen credit card.

Through a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the credit card was used in more than 180 unauthorized transactions, resulting in illegal purchases totaling more than $14,000 for gas between February 2024 and July 2024.

On Nov. 18, the Bossier City Police Department arrested Thomas on a warrant for access device fraud and identity theft. He was booked into the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Jail and will be transferred to the DeSoto Parish Detention Center at a later date.
