Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: Govinda casts his vote despite recent health reversals | News about people

Mumbai: Actor-politician Govinda was seen voting at a polling booth in the city on Wednesday despite his health problems.

The actor was dressed in all white as he made his way to his car and limped a bit. He was seen flaunting his inked finger. She also interacted with paparazzi while posing for pictures. This marks his first public appearance since being discharged from a Mumbai hospital last month following a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

When the paparazzi stationed at the polling station asked him if he is doing well now post the accidental incident, the actor said, “Sab achcha hai (Everything is fine).” He was then seen telling the paps “Arey kaahe chichiya rahe ho”.

Last month, Govinda misfired his gun while cleaning out his closet in the early hours of Tuesday. He suffered a leg injury. According to media reports, a small part of the lock of his gun was broken, which did not prevent the gun from accidentally firing.

The actor was supposed to head to Kolkata but before that he was thinking of organizing his wardrobe when the unfortunate incident happened due to the broken lock of the gun. At the time of the incident, 6 bullets were loaded and one of them misfired in his leg, after which he was rushed to the hospital in Juhu.
