GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — You’re invited to join the walk for health and housing in downtown Traverse City Wednesday night.

It’s a guided tour from the perspective of people experiencing homelessness and the providers who serve them.

It will begin at 6 p.m. from the Great Lakes Campus NMC parking lot.

The walk will last 90 minutes.

Stops will highlight service and volunteer opportunities, including the government center where people will learn ways to give back and get involved.

The walk is part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
