Arsenal vs Liverpool kick off time and date

Arsenal will host Liverpool at Emirates Stadium in north London in a game neither side can really afford to lose on Sunday 27 October.

The game will kick off at 16:30 GMT and fans will need to be aware that the clocks go back early in the morning as the UK time zone switches from BST to GMT.

This is a match with a lot of history, but it is the first time Slot will face Arsenal in his career.

Arsenal v Liverpool will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage starting earlier in the day.

For those unable to watch, there will also be live radio coverage on BBC Radio Five Live.

Arsenal squad and injury news

William Saliba is suspended after his red card against Bournemouth earned him a one-game suspension.

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are both out with major injury problems, as is the captain Martin Odegaard, who insisted he is close to a comeback.

Arteta still faces uncertainty Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafioriwith all three racing against the clock to be fit for the game.

Liverpool have problems of their own, with goalkeeper Alisson and striker Diogo Jota among their absences.
