WYTHE COUNTY, Virginia (WDBJ/Gray News ) – A woman is charged with first-degree murder after she allegedly set another woman on fire and killed her, according to authorities.

Savannah Renee Adams is charged in the death of Tiffany Dunford.

Dunford was sitting on an outdoor couch on Nov. 17 when someone drove up, quickly doused her in gasoline, set her on fire and drove off, according to her family.

He died in hospital the next day.

Dunford and Adams knew each other, according to Dunford’s family.

According to deputies, Dunford suffered severe burns over most of her body.
