Pati Junior’s wife, Kikuyu gospel singer who recently died in an accident, painfully recalled their last conversation before the terrible accident that took his life.

Pati, who was a beloved singer in the Kikuyu gospel scene, died on Friday, November 15, after a horrific accident involving a truck carrying construction materials and his mini truck.

Speaking to Paxson TV, the talented singer’s wife recalled speaking to her husband at 10am on the fateful day before the accident.

“I called him that day to tell him how he should buy a wardrobe so I can organize his clothes for him. He had left earlier that day and I wished him well,” she said.

“I feel so much pain because in the morning he was doing well and jovial. He said goodbye to me and I told him to have a nice day,” she added on the verge of tears.

Esther, the widow, said the accident happened at 11am but only learned about it at 2pm.

“His sister called me and gave me the bad news. We rushed to the hospital and were told that he was undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, we found out that he is no more,” she added.

The woman said her husband’s burial would take place in Nakuru in the coming days.

As reported, family and friends have taken to social media to mourn the fallen singer, with many expressing their deep grief and confusion as musician he had just celebrated the success of his album.

Information reaching TUKO.co.ke indicates that Junior died after a collision with a truck carrying construction materials.

The accident happened in Makongeni.

According to his wife, the singer has been in the music industry for eight years.
