Hyderabad: The High Court on Monday granted regular bail to Gajjala Uma Shankar Reddy, an accused in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. He has been in jail since 9 September 2021. While granting him bail, the court held that most of the accused in the case have been granted bail and Uma Shankar Reddy has been in jail for more than three years. Moreover, the trial court also considered prima facie that there were contradictions in the statements of witnesses, other accused and in the CCTV footage.
