Sundance Head shares video update after accidental shooting: ‘I was sure I was going to die’

Sundance Head is still recovering from o scary incident that happened on his ranch in Texasbut now he is doing well enough to explain what happened in his own words.

In case you missed it, an accidental shooting involving the former winner of the The voice took place last Friday. Fortunately, the gunshot wound Sundance suffered did not cause any internal damage. As for how he was shot, his wife Misty revealed that he was hunting alone on his farm and friends were expected to join him over the weekend. She clarified that he was not shot with his shotgun and assured everyone that no one shot him.

Apparently it was a freak accident where the gun went off when Sundance threw the firearm and it hit the outside of his Jeep. Fortunately, the bullet entered just above Sundance’s navel and lodged in the abdominal wall. He was airlifted to the nearest hospital and as no vital organs were affected, doctors opted to leave the bullet and no surgery was required.

Head’s wife has been doing a great job keeping fans updated via Facebook, and after letting everyone know that the singer-songwriter has been released from the hospital, she went on to say that Sundance will explain how it all happened in his own words when he is ready. . Misty also said that she wouldn’t be surprised if Sundance turned this life-threatening incident into a full album (or at least a single song).

And now, the Sundance Head is finally feeling well enough to send a message to his fans in his own words. The “Darlin’ Don’t Go” singer posted several videos on Facebook assuring his followers that he was fine and thanking everyone who came to his rescue – especially the car that stopped to help him when he tried to help Help:

“I wanted to come and tell you that I’m still alive, thankfully. Thank you to the Good God above and the wonderful first responders as well as the trauma team at UT Tyler. They did a wonderful job and really kept me alive. I was sure I was going to die. It was one of the craziest things that ever happened to me…

I also want to thank the people who were on highway 84 who stopped to help me. Without you, man, I don’t think I could do it. I was bleeding right there. I had no one to help me and I had about a dozen cars pass and see me and make eye contact and they wouldn’t stop. They kept going and I tell you what my friend, I was at the end of the road.”

As you heard in the video, Sundance said he plans to spend more time with the good Samaritans who pulled over on the side of the highway to help him. But it’s crazy to think that 12 cars drove past Head because he was in desperate need of help and none of them stopped…

Sundance released a video explaining how it all happened in detail. Former winner of The voice he’s really counting his blessings after a brush with death, and as he said, he’s trying to find a positive in it all.

We’ll likely hear more about this positive as the country music artist releases more videos.
