Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu was allegedly attacked during a live performance in Australia. The incident took place when a fan ran on stage and tried to choke Sandhu.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. According to reports, while performing a song, Garry pointed to the crowd by raising his middle finger (the gesture is considered socially indecent). The offensive gesture did not go down well with the fan, leading to a confrontation on stage.

It is understood that after the indecent gesture, a fan came out of the crowd, went on stage and rushed towards Garry. He came and grabbed Garry’s neck. Immediately afterwards, Garry’s team and the New South Wales Police arrived.

They rescued Garry from the clutches of the attacker.
