A 22-year-old Tupelo man was arrested in connection with a burglary at the Express Shop located at 2611 South Eason Blvd. On November 11, 2024, officers responded to the scene after the business reported a forced entry and the theft of several items. Surveillance footage provided by the company helped identify the suspect.

Following an investigation, Caelen E. Triplett was arrested on November 14 and charged with Burglary of a Commercial Building.

Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen set Triplett’s bond at $5,000 Nov. 15. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further action.
