Bowling Green police have issued a citation for aggravated menacing and criminal mischief to an 18-year-old Wayne man who allegedly threatened four males with a knife at a restaurant in the 1400 block of East Wooster Street.

Police were called by the boys at around 10.40am on Sunday (17.11) after they were allegedly threatened by two people wearing ski masks, one of whom was carrying a knife.

According to the police report, the boys got into a verbal altercation with the masked woman, Hevn Shyver, who was using the men’s restroom. Shyver allegedly left the restaurant, then re-entered carrying a knife and accompanied by a man wearing a ski mask. Shyver allegedly threatened to stab the boys in the chest.

According to the report, the boys ran from the restaurant and got into a vehicle. Shyver allegedly threw the knife at one of the boys and damaged the rear passenger door with two sharp marks.

The two people in ski masks then followed the boys into their vehicle.

The boys gave police a description of the car and license plate, which was located by a license plate camera at South Main Street and Palmer Avenue.

Shyver allegedly told police she was at the restaurant getting a Door Dash delivery when the boys verbally assaulted her and made fun of her. She had to go back inside to get another order, so she told police she took the knife with her as protection. Shyver told police he did not intend to damage the vehicle.
