Two Metropolitan Police officers have each been charged with four counts of sexually assaulting a woman in London.

PC Jerome Beasley, 41, and Luke Robinson, 39, who are both attached to the Central West Command Unit, allegedly sexually assaulted the woman at a location in central London on April 21, while not they were on duty.

The Met said both officers were currently suspended from duty and are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The force added that the department of the Directorate of Professional Standards is aware of this case.
